My name is Alicé Nalule, I’m the Nursery Manager and I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and an NVQ Level 3 in Management. I am also studying towards a degree in Early Years, Childcare and Education. I have been in childcare for over 6 years and am passionate about working in Early Years. I first decided to work with children as I really wanted to make a difference and give them what I felt was the best start in life.

I have two children of my own so understand how important it is to find the right childcare, where both you and your child are happy.

I always wanted to work in a nursery which had a “home from home” feel, where children can feel safe, loved and nurtured - as this is the best environment for them to develop. This is exactly what I feel my team and I have achieved at Lavender Hill.

I think that it’s really important to reflect on our day to day practice as it helps us in moving the nursery forward. We are always looking at how we can build on what we have in place to enhance your child’s learning and support their development.
